GKC Volunteer Leaders

The ICF Coaching Education Global Volunteer Leadership Team plays a vital role in supporting ICF staff on key initiatives, including content development, event coordination, and virtual community engagement.

The team is composed of volunteer leaders from all three global regions and is organized into the following community-focused structures:

Three Regional Community Teams, each dedicated to strengthening community engagement and connection within a specific global region.
A Global Ambassador Team, organized around three strategic focus areas:
- Community Engagement
- Discovery Series
- Resource Development and Thought Leadership
Assessor Community Co-Leaders and Ambassadors, who provide targeted support, coordination, and advocacy for the global assessor community.

Volunteers serve in clearly defined roles within these structures, with service terms typically ranging from one to two years depending on the role and scope of responsibility. Designated Team Leads provide leadership and oversight for each regional team and global focus area, while ambassadors and co-leaders collaborate closely to advance community goals.

This structure enables volunteers to align their expertise and interests with ICF’s mission while fostering strong regional connection, global collaboration, and specialized support across the coaching education community.
